Alexander Seleznov

Bio

Hi all! My name is Alexander Seleznov, I’m a professional session drummer and percussionist.

Now I am a member of such bands as Eugene Khmara, NENSI, MamaRika, Hillsong Ukraine. I have previously been lucky enough to work with such artists as Rowan Pattison trio, Alexander Malinin, Freak Power, Didier Marouani, LAUD, alyona alyona, Piano Flamenco Band and many others.
Now concert activity is limited here, so I want to offer you my skills online.

I participated in many competitions, in most of which I was nominated for the main prize: «MuzTorg 2006», «Baltic Drummer's League 2007», «MuzTorg 2007», «Roland V-Drums Contest 2010», «Modern Drummer Hero 2015»
At the international competition «Modern Drummer Hero 2015» I got into the top 5, where Shannon Leto (30 Seconds to Mars) praised my drumming, commenting on the composition.
«I like the way he (Alexander) let the song breathe and not over do the drumming, but still adding his personality to it.» - Shannon Leto.
In 2019 I became an author of the first Ukrainian drum book «Im_a_drummer. The Super Method of Studying Drumming» (published by «Nova Knyga», 2019).
In 2020, I got a scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland «GAUDE POLONIA» and implemented an educational project for drummers under the supervision of the famous Polish drummer Krzysztof Gradziuk.
My book «Im_a_drummer. The Super Method of Studying Drumming» was release in Poland.
