Bio

Pianist, composer, vocalist, author and producer, first prize in the Luca Flores Jazz piano competition (Florence, 2009) and first prize in the International Competition for Jazz Soloists of Montecarlo (Monaco, 2015) Giuseppe, aka "Joe" De Gregorio, has been active on the International Jazz scene for over ten years on three continents, Europe, North Africa and the United States (New York) where he performed with Jonathan
Blake (Blue Note artist), Joel Frahm and Ari Hoenig.

Bandleader of several bands including his own trio, he has recorded six self-produced albums to date collaborating with international Jazz artists including drummer Greg Hutchinson, guitarist David Reinhardt (Django's nephew) and Israeli bassist Yoni Zelnik (ECM recording artist).
During his international career Joe has performed at the Parco della Musica in Rome (2019), Jamboree Jazz Club (Barcelona), Sunside Jazz Club (Paris), Salle Gaveau (Paris), Bravo Jazz Club (Brussels), Princess Grace Theater (Montecarlo), Villa des arts of Rabat and Casablanca (Morocco), Rockwood Music Hall (New York), Bonafide Jazz club by Richard Bona, (New York) Saint Peter's Jazz Vespers (New York).

Winner of three international scholarships for the study of jazz piano and music
improvised at: The Academy of Music and Drama (Gothenburg, Sweden), Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA), The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music (New York, USA), had distinguished mentors including: Ramberto Ciammarughi, Karel Boehlee, John Taylor, Serge Lazarevitch, Reggie Workman, Cecil Bridgewater, Danilo Perez, Victor Wooten.
