Hi!
My name is Kamil Ďurana and I am a flamenco guitarist with a main focus on dance accompaniment. My ultimate goal is to offer dance class accompaniment and private lessons for free to anybody. Also, thanks to Patreon, my youtube channel is and always will be without ads. Here on SoundSlice, I am sharing everything I am learning and teaching, feel free to use it as you wish!

My motto is "details matter".

I am employed in IT as a BI analyst, spending my work-day on the computer (a proud employee of Daktela.com). But after that, I tend to my biggest hobby, the guitar. I regularly accompany dance classes and workshops, practice at home every day (Mondays, Tuesdays, weekdays, sick-days, holidays...), I get lessons from professional guitarists, transcribe music from audio to scores, study new pieces from books, attend rehearsals with fellow musicians, make home-recordings, teach guitar to fellow flamencos, create my own music and occasionally perform on concerts.
The biggest project I am part of is Sen o Boženě by Jana Drdácká (https://divadloponec.cz/cs/sen-o-bozene) and I am happy for having the chance to participate in it.

I live in Prague and play flamenco since 2014 (yes, after - and because - Paco de Lucía died). I also like other musical styles and hence am collaborating with friends in other genres, too. My teacher and mentor is Dario Piga (https://dariopiga.net/) and I am also proud to be learning from Jorge Sánchez "El Pisao". I regularly play at dance classes in Prague (Jana Drdácká - studio Element, Dita Kándlová - studio Influencía, Lucie Bevelaqua and occasionally Elena Gordon - akademie Flamenkeria or Virginia Delgado) and Pardubice (Lenka Jehličková). I was also lucky to accompany classes of Eva Esquivel, La Bambina, Cristina Aguilar, Blanca Perdiguer, Isabel Muñoz, Elisa Aguilar, Libuška Bachratá and Eduard Zubák.
I also study flamenco dance, palmas and singing.
