Anton Zille

Bio

I’m a Russian-born fiddler, editor and web developer currently based in Serbia. I teach fiddle and tinwhistle and dream up projects about my Irish Traditional Music heroes from the enigmatic border region of Sliabh Luachra (which, they say, is really “a state of mind”). I may be far away from home but to me the journey I embarked on years ago really defines who I am and will always be – a chance traveller in the world of nostalgic memories and lonesome archive recordings, looking for things of beauty that we perhaps are missing in our lives despite having so much “stuff”. Are you something of a time traveller yourself? Help me realise my dreams of making my labour of love available to more people in need of something different while keeping it all free, accessible and open source!
