Bio
Kirby grew up playing guitar, bass, keyboards, programming drums and singing at Faith Aflame Ministry Apostolic Church in St. Croix US Virgin Islands. He also studied classical music, playing and singing in the St. Croix Educational Complex Concert Band and Concert Choir. He released his 1st self-produced album: CHANGED MAN, at age 18!
He has become an in-demand church conference musician & clinician, and he has produced for and/or recorded with Matthew Aarons, Karen Williams, Abimael Innocent, Glacia Robinson, Pastor Emmanuel Smith & the ART Singers, The Gunters, Pastor S. Robert Stewart & The PenTab Singers, Mark Brown and Focus, Pauline Brash and others.
Since 1998, he's been training young musicians from the Caribbean to Argentina. In 2017, he released CHURCH BASS WITH KIRBY D TRIM, his bass guitar instructional video series and gives online lessons at www.KirbyDTrim.com.
Kirby’s work has been recognized with more than 7 Rhythm of Gospel nominations. His recently released GOD WILL MAKE A WAY deluxe Ep is a handkerchief of hope & inspiring melodies affirming a faithful response after experiencing heart-rending grief.
He passionately & intentionally lives to worship Jesus; and with his life and music, he inspires others to do the same!
