Using Soundslice like a native app

Using Soundslice a lot on your phone or tablet? Here are some tips on how to take advantage of our mobile version.

Using Soundslice in your phone’s web browser

We put a lot of effort into making sure Soundslice works well on mobile devices. Just go to soundslice.com in your mobile browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox or whatever. Everything will be optimized for your small screen, and you’ll be able to log into your account to access anything you’ve created, purchased or been assigned.

There’s nothing to download or install. Just go to the website, and everything just works.

Adding Soundslice to your home screen

We highly recommend adding Soundslice to your phone’s home screen. Here’s why:

  • It puts a Soundslice icon on your home screen, for quick access, just like any other app.
  • When you view Soundslice via your home screen, Soundslice will be able to use your phone’s full screen, without any web browser cruft such as the back button or URL bar. This makes a big difference, letting you focus on learning and practicing.

It basically feels indistinguishable from a native app, with the benefit that it doesn’t take up any space on your phone.

Adding on iOS

Tap the "Share" button in the bottom of the screen

Then tap "Add to Home Screen". You might need to scroll to see it.

Adding on Android

Tap the "..." button in the top right of the screen.

Then tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install app".

Is a native app available for download?

No, there’s no native Soundslice app for iOS nor Android. If you add Soundslice to your home screen (as explained above), you’ll basically get an app-like experience.
