Canon in D for Violin and Guitar

My name is Peter Kelly and I am a musician based out of the New York City area. I perform at lots of weddings and events and Canon in D is a popular request.

I wrote this arrangement for violin and nylon string guitar because most of the versions online had the violin playing the melody while the guitar would only play the chords. I wanted to keep the feeling of two instruments but still hear the different melodic ideas working off each other.

I based this arrangement on the original score of Canon in D. The guitar part is written in both standard notation and tablature. The recording features myself on guitar and Samantha Chestney on Violin. We play as a duo and are both members of The Wood Vibrations.
