Bio
Hello! I’m a gypsy-jazz and fingerstyle guitarist. I’ve been playing guitar since 1996 and teaching music since 2010.
My performances are mostly available on YouTube, where I’ve maintained a channel since 2007. I perform regularly around Amsterdam with various configurations of gypsy-jazz groups.
For a while I taught a couple weekly gypsy-jazz classes at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music. I’ve also been on the faculty at the excellent Django In June instructional camp for several years.
I’m the person who started Soundslice and continue to improve it on a daily basis.
Favorite musicians: Django Reinhardt, Johnny Hodges, The Beatles, Roy Orbison, Ray Charles, Erroll Garner, Johnny Smith.
