Bio
Hailing from Los Angeles via Sydney, Australia, Texas-based guitarist Noel Johnston teaches jazz guitar and improvisation at the University of North Texas and is the guitarist in the house band at the “Daystar” Television network. Along with albums under his own name, he has toured or recorded with such jazz, gospel, and blues luminaries as Kenny Wheeler, Gary Willis, Fred Hammond, and Lucky Peterson as well as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. He is the author of Voicing Modes (2016), Modal Etudes (2019) and The 4-Note Universe (2022). For more information, visit noeljohnston.com
