“Couldn’t load the music font” error

If you see the error “Couldn’t load the music font” when viewing music in Soundslice, here’s what to do next.

If you’re using any content blockers, try disabling them to see whether that fixes it. Some aggressive content blockers will block custom fonts — which is a problem for Soundslice because we use a custom font for our music notation.

Some content blockers let you control whether fonts are blocked. We suggest enabling fonts to see whether that gets things working in Soundslice.

Also, some content blockers let you whitelist certain websites. We suggest whitelabeling www.soundslice.com to get around any issues. Our site has no third-party trackers, and zero ads, so a content blocker will do you no good anyway — it’ll only introduce possible problems.
