Bio
I am a professional musician and teacher, based in Vilnius, Lithuania. I earned my diploma in Music Theory and Composition from The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. My musical career began in 1968 as a lead singer and guitarist in a rock band Geliu Vaikai (Flower Children). I started teaching Jazz/Rock Guitar in 1970, and since 1986 I’m teaching Improvisation, Jazz Theory and Composition. I’m an author of 3 books on the subjects of guitar and music-theory. I’m a founder of Lithuanian guitarists’ support foundation, I curate online magazine and several social media groups which unite Guitarists and other musicians interested in Lithuanian music development. I currently teach music privately at my home and via Skype.
