Counterpoint can simply be described as the relationship between two melodies moving independently of each other. Originating in the Classical music world, counterpoint techniques are present in all genres of music today and serve as the basis for some of the most exciting compositions and improvisations.

This collection of music was a year's exploration into writing contrapuntal pieces for the guitar. Much of this work has been designed to challenge the modern guitar player to think more like a pianist. Helping to develop a greater sense of harmonic movement, melodic independence and thematic development over the fret-board.
These 6 etudes will guarantee a challenge for players of all skill levels and will keep you occupied indefinitely as they have for me.

If you want to experience a new challenge on the fret-board, then this course is for you!
