We now support percussion notation! Here’s an example, a rudimental exercise for snare drum.

We’ve also added support for slash notes (example), which are useful for rhythmic patterns.

Beyond this, we’ve made dozens of refinements to our notation rendering, data importers and player interface in the last few weeks. And for those of you embedding our player in your own sites, we added two URL parameters for customizing your player:

  • Use narrow_video_height to override video height when our player uses a narrow width.
  • Use show_track_names to hide the track (i.e., part) names to the left of every stave.

As always, please get in touch with feedback.

How could i create a percussion notation? I just see standard and tab notation on my editor. Thank you!
@miquelsoundslice You have two options:

1. Create a new track in the Soundslice editor and use the "Drum kit" preset.
2. Create notation in another notation program and import it into Soundslice.
