Here’s a new feature that we hope saves you a lot of time. Our system can now automatically figure out syncpoints, by aligning your notation and audio.

Previously, we had a simpler version of this, which detected beats in the audio without considering your notation. Now we have a more accurate second option, which compares your notation with the audio and finds an optimal alignment.

In our editor, when you click “Auto sync,” you can now choose between “Sync with notation” (the new feature) and “Detect beats” (the old feature):

In our testing, we’ve found this works much better than our previous auto syncing (if you happen to already have notation in your slice). We highly encourage you to give it a try!
