Support for multi-note tremolos

We’ve added support for multi-note tremolos throughout Soundslice:

Screenshot of tremolo notation

Our graphics engine now supports displaying multi-note tremolo “beams” (the thick lines connecting the two parts of the tremolo). And per convention, notes in multi-note tremolos are displayed with the rhythmic value of the entire tremolo pair. That may seem unintuitive or wrong if you’ve never seen it before; have no fear, it’s how it’s supposed to work!

Our editor now lets you add and remove these multi-note tremolos. See our updated help page on editing tremolo markings.

Our synthetic playback now honors multi-note tremolos, rotating between the pitches appropriately.

Our MusicXML importer now imports multi-note tremolos, and our MusicXML exporter now includes this data.

Our PDF/image scanner now detects multi-note tremolos as well.
