Automatic Boomwhackers note coloring

You can now automatically activate Boomwhackers colors in any music you’re viewing on Soundslice.

Boomwhackers is a way to color music notation such that each pitch gets a distinct, consistent color. Typically this is used for beginner music students, with corresponding colored instruments.

When you’re viewing a slice on our site, open the player settings, then look for “Appearance.” Click “More options” and change the Colors setting to “Boomwhackers.” The notation will instantly update to use the colors.

We already supported setting custom colors on notes, but this new feature saves a lot of time for people using the Boomwhackers convention. No need to manually color each note; just let the system automate it for you!

This is a totally free feature. For more details, see our new help page.
