Creating private courses

A private course is a collection of slices that a teacher can share with one or more specific students.

This can be anything from a reusable curriculum for Recorder 101 to a tailored practice guide for a single student. And you have the freedom to add (or remove) slices and students at any time.

Creating a course

Once you’ve created the slices you’d like to include in a course, click the “Teach” link in the left sidebar:

This will take you to the list of the private courses you’ve created. On that page, click the “New course” button:

You’ll be brought to a screen where you set the course’s name and type. Be sure to select the option Share privately with your students.

You can always change the name later, but not the type.

The next step is to add slices to the course.
