The student perspective
If you’ve shared music privately with students, what does that look like for them? This page explains the student perspective on working with Soundslice.
How students gain access to your lessons
Students need to have a free Soundslice account in order to access courses and slices you’ve privately shared with them. To create a free Soundslice account, they’ll just need a valid email address.
When you privately share slices with students, they’ll get notified via email. The email contains a link to the specific music you’ve shared on Soundslice.
How students find your lessons
In addition to that initial email, your students will see your shared music on their Soundslice homepage, in the “Lessons” section:
Courses you’ve shared will be labeled with their name and image. Individually shared slices will be in a “Lessons from your teacher” section.
How students use your lessons
Students get full access to the Soundslice player and its suite of features.
In addition, any student in a private course will get the following Soundslice Plus features for free:
- Ability to create and edit clips — bookmarks for small sections of music.
- Auto-saved player settings — so their various view options will be preserved next time they view the slice.
