By default, music in our player is displayed in Fluid layout, which means we automatically calculate the number of measures of music per line to fit the size of your screen. But we also offer a Horizontal layout.
This can be handy on smaller screens or in various other situations.
To switch to Horizontal layout, click the gear icon in the lower right and change the Layout to Horizontal:
You can always switch back to Fluid via that same method.
Playhead behavior in Horizontal layout
By default, we’ll show you one “screen’s worth” of notation at a time — but you can also choose to keep the playhead at the left of the screen and have the notation constantly scroll behind it. See here for how to change this.
